This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 21, 2009:
We had gone to the beach for a day, my brothers friend Alistair came too. The boys were playing on a groin when a freak wave swept my brothers friend into the water. There was a strong current flowing which was dragging his friend out to sea, there was a life ring but we couldn't find a strong swimmer to take it out to him, everyone was panicking and almost hysterical, meanwhile his little head was bobbing smaller and more distant. I remember thinking please God, don't let him drown, we can't tell his parents he's dead, and immediately a thought entered my mind, run to the cafe at the entrance to the beach, I did and called out .....
Help, are there any strong swimmers here? An athletic young man came forward, he was the champion swimmer on the island of Jersey,, we ran down to the beach and he swam out to rescue my brothers friend. Alistair couldn't swim, to this day I wonder how he stayed afloat so long, he told us his Dad had said if ever you are in trouble hang on and I'll come and get you, he had just flailed around enough to keep him afloat. since then I have always had faith in the power of prayer.

Help

I remember reading this before Gael in one of your previous posts, it is a as moving now as then..
I guess Alistair will never forget this..
Thank God you were so swift and connected to your inner wisdom, that you were there, that perfection is always present, that all unfolds in a miraculous way, that our prayers and calls are always heard no matter how, who and where we are…
Bless that young man for his bravery and the gift he shared..
Those words his Dad spoke remained with him, beautiful words which did keep his head above water…
A lovely post today Gael, thank you..
Blessings and
Love
Ange..
Ange yes it was a miracle, lol will try not to post the same again, but it was the first thing hat sprang to mind from the question

Anna, you are an empath? Hugs
Dear Zephyr,
This is a beautiful story. Beautifully miraculous. God bless.
Thank you Jenny, I thought it was a miracle too.
my goodness, Zephyr, you had me rushing off on the net to find out what an empath is - and … I thought this is what everyone experiences till your question led me to discover - yes, everyone is born an empath but many people loose their ability. Mmm this also explains the tears which come when others tell their tale and the ability to often give helpful insights. When I was a young adult I found it overwhelming, these days I find it useful and helpful

Me oo Anna, Iit enables us to walk in anothers shoes, imagine what they feel, feel with them, with maturity we cope better with that, feel it but don't go to pieces.
true true! funny how something so familiar can become more known by a friend shedding light on it

Prayer alone will not lead to miracles… I believe that Prayer and Faith that your prayer WILL be answered is a miracle itself :)
Thank you for sharing that wonderful miracle with us…
Oh yes it was, have you seen Eli's blog regarding faith?
