When was the last time you whispered?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 20, 2009:
Of neccessity, because my mother is very deaf our communications are not whispers, I have to speak up in front of her as she part lip-reads part hears. However there are other opportunities for whispers, whispers of gratitude for All, whisper games with the grandchildren, and believe it or not I think the most recent whisper was to a tree.; Gale force winds were battering the tall pine behind the house,it stands way above other trees here, small branches had landed on the garden and it was taking a battering from the wind, I felt compassion for the tree, in a whisper I sent it positive thoughts for love and strength. Or maybe it was the whisper of affection to the bumble bee who buzzed me in the garden today in mid November, well there are still a few flowers out, a few pink roses.!

Help

Gael, I love pink roses!!
Smiling as I picture the happy bumble bee in the garden.
Gael - I enjoyed reading your post. Your statement about gale force winds made me think of my all-time favorite orchestra. Have you ever heard the Scottish Gaelforce Orchestra? They are wonderful.
I love it that you whispered to a tree.
I talk to trees, usually not out loud, sometimes I'll lean my forehead against it's bark at just think to it.
I know! It's it great! I still have cosmos blooming and I want to plant pansies. The leaves are falling but I had to cut grass today. Thanksgiving is one week away and I had my front door open to let the clean breeze freshen up the house. It may spell bad weather for us later but I'm enjoying every minute of it I can. Give your tree a pat from me, please.
Sandi - I love that you “lean your forehead againt it's bark and just think to it.” I also think it's marvelous that you had your front door open today to let the clean breeze freshen up the house.
Helen - Bumble bees and pink roses in the middle of November. There's no doubt that you are the recipient of especially fine gifts from Spirit.
ORAL SEX? AM I RIGHT? HAHA
Helen, I am still waiting to be able to prune the roses, at the rate they are growing there will still be buds at christmas, lol. The grass is still growing and the broad beans are shooting up and will need protection. Normally they overwinter as small shoots then get away fast in spring.
Laurie, I guess that is Gael as in Gaelic? Will try to find some of their music.
Sandi, the tree is in a strip of natural land between our garden and an ajacent field it's surrounded by thick brambles and other trees, it's a haven for wildlife, shrews, moles,' pheasants and other birds etc. We do have some ancient oaks round here, they get a cuddle now and then though their girth is much more than a hugs width and they probably date from 16th or 17th century, the church on the hill has similar old trees and dates from that time, that was the original settlement of Peasmarsh and after the black death plague they moved from the hilltop to the valley.
Pooney - Ha ha.
Gael, If I ever get out off of this continent, I will for sure want to check out the trees of the U.K. From the photos I've seen they must be magnificent. We still have some old-growth forests here in the mountains but quite a hike to see them.
