This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 22, 2009:
I would research how we can best align and harmonise our lives with nature, and when I had that fully sussed then If illness wasn't resolved I would research health and how we can best maintain it and prevent illness, but I have a feeling that if the first could be achieved there would be no more illness anyway, perhaps illness is just a symptom of how far we have strayed away from nature.

Help

Me too… Actually I am thinking in time, when I will be ready to teach yoga, I will also have a healing center and will teach there about our connection to the nature… Maybe you should join me… Hugs, L
Hugs sounds good Asteri, I like the healing centre idea, though maybe a wellbeing centre? I would like to sell my house, buy a plot of land and make a forest food garden and show people how to live in harmony with nature and other creatures. At the moment though I am committed to caring for my mother and it's hard work night and day, the doctor is caring and helpful but Mum is still the cause of sleep deprived nights, she was awake, needing a clean bed, and demanding breakfast at 4am this morning. So for the moment, I content myself with keeping my garden as a natural wild life haven, and free of pollution.
Perhaps this research would take us back to the Ancient Hindu thoughts wherein Nature was worshiped with reverence, earth was always considered our mother, and disciplined regularized lifestyle with yoga was the first lesson taught in the schools of the ancient Gurus where children were sent by their parents for twelve years.
Hi Bhatta, yes many of the ancient religions and people like the american indian tribes generally were more aware of our deep connections to earth and to nature. Without earth we have no future, we have taken so much from earth with no respect or consideration for her well being.
