Well perhaps youth is for those physical adventures, but old age is the full bloom of mind, heart and spirit, and thinking about it the body isn't past it yet either, LOL
Well, there are so many blessings, and hopefully we have learned to surf the waves that
flow through life, keeping our balance and seing what Is with greater clarity. It's so wonderful to see children, and grandchildren and possibly soon great grandchildren grow and develop, and so exciting to witness change and look towards their future.
I still have many dreams. for them, for me, and for the planet.

When in tune with the universe, or oneness, even writing my poetry, sometimes a poem drops from the ether, virtually ready to write.

Freedom can so easily slip into self -indulgence, it is so easy to become a slave to success, or material things, or to our needs - but to me personally it means far more, maybe it's choosing peace, perhaps it's making choices with love as a guide, with true freedom we are mindful not just of other people, but other cultures, other species, and the planet.

Art born of love for the medium..........art.that comes from the heart, it could be music, or painting or sculpture, or architecture or craft, or my own love which is poetry. I also
truly appreciate the work of others and have original oil and watercolour paintings
in my home. I played a wide variety of music at home when my children were babies and they all grew up to love good music from the classics to modern. Books too, they all read avidly, writing is an art too, Well I guess life is an art too.

Of neccessity, because my mother is very deaf our communications are not whispers, I have to speak up in front of her as she part lip-reads part hears. However there are other opportunities for whispers, whispers of gratitude for All, whisper games with the grandchildren, and believe it or not I think the most recent whisper was to a tree.; Gale force winds were battering the tall pine behind the house,it stands way above other trees here, small branches had landed on the garden and it was taking a battering from the wind, I felt compassion for the tree, in a whisper I sent it positive thoughts for love and strength. Or maybe it was the whisper of affection to the bumble bee who buzzed me in the garden today in mid November, well there are still a few flowers out, a few pink roses.!

I would research how we can best align and harmonise our lives with nature, and when I had that fully sussed then If illness wasn't resolved I would research health and how we can best maintain it and prevent illness, but I have a feeling that if the first could be achieved there would be no more illness anyway, perhaps illness is just a symptom of how far we have strayed away from nature.

It is a pipe dream at the moment. -
The World health organisation defines Health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
I would go further and define it as a balanced state of complete physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. All this is dependent on optimal planetary health, and that means unpolluted soil, air, homes, and drinking water / oceans...
We have a lot of work to do, for we can't be truly healthy in an unhealthy environment polluted with gender bending chemicals and heavy metals and air that is not fit to breathe in many areas of the world.. For our own wellbeing we need to learn respect for our environment - respect for earth.

Forewarned is forearmed, so yes I do keep up with the news, it enables me to take prudent action and make the best of any situation. For example with global warming and more extreme weather incidents, we have had sooo much rain, only my paths are waterlogged, the vegetables are fine - in raised beds, If we get drought in the summer the soil won't turn to dust because for 4 years now I have been adding compost which adds humus which makes the soil water retentive, and to prevent evaporation I mulch with straw, grass clippings, non-seeded weeds, and I return any of the crop that is not used as a mulch where it has grown.. I use the information I glean from the news as something to act on,, if it is a disaster, I try to contribute, even if it is only a modest amount, small contributions can add up, if a lot of people make the effort.
I don't let all the bad news depress me, but do what I can and then it is water under the bridge and I concentrate on the moment in hand.
