This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 21, 2008:
I learned we are guilty of impacting on their habitats and survival, many are endangered because of our thoughtless destruction of habitat, pollution and emissions, I do what I can to redress the balance. I appreciate their sentience, I admire their adaptation, intelligence, their beauty and perfection,, they all have lessons for me. I could not eat one, and have been a vegetarian for a long time now because I truly love, value and appreciate them.

Amen Gael…they are wiser than all the great thinkers of all time…..
Thank you Aley, wise enough not to argue with nature.
we have 2 windows in our apartment and we normally close our bedroom window for privacy but the female kitten cries to lookout the window in the bedroom so we open the blinds for her – but after we open them she is content — if we go to close them she becomes terribly upset –
You are right my fellow vegetarian! I get so angry when people complain about the “wild” animals in their neighborhoods and conveniently forget that the animals were there first! I often think that animals are waaay smarter than people, and that if we would just pay attention more, we could learn to live in balance with this living world around us instead of destroying so much of what we touch!
Thanks for sharing…
Nightphoenix we have cats too, they know their own minds and can be quite determined.
Jami, thank you, you are a sweet and thoughtful soul. Hugs.
