What do you want from our leaders?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 12, 2008:
Top down - or bottom up?
I would like them to take their snouts out of the trough, and develop some spiritual qualities, it's a tall order -
compassion,
love,
honesty,
integrity,
wisdom,
inner peace,
tolerance,
balance,
gratitude
conscience, personal, social and environmental
then inspire us all to follow their example. in short work themselves out of a job.
On second thoughts it's what we should all be aiming for anyway, maybe when we all
work really hard at this we will get a government that reflects societies general personal spiritual achievements - as we have now. A lot of work still to be done .
