In Praise of Englands Wild Rose. Dedicated to Rosy

Zephyr
England's Wild Rose.
Shyly she emerges from hedgerows
wearing her heart wide open, tendrils
of new green caress her delicacy, fragile
as tissue paper, five heart shaped
pink petals invite the bees to sample
a round eye of gold, laden with pollen.
They cannot resist her heartwarming
perfume, it enters the nose blissfully
to settle so sweetly on the tastebuds.
( These are flowering in the hedgerows now, their perfume is out of this world.)

Gaia stopped all my comments yesterday, so sorry late getting back to you both. I wrote the poem first when I saw the rose, then it reminded me of Rose, hence the dedication. you are all worthy of your own dedication my friends - just a case of which inspiration fits, over time you will likely all get one eventually. Smiles.
Oh Zephyr, you are undoubtedly one of the most sacred blessings ever to have graced my existence!!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for dedicating this blog to me - you have, once again, touched my heart and soul very, very deeply!
