Hare Moon.

Hare Moon.
In this
bright ambrosial light,
sun illuminates a maximoon tonight,
it floats calmly in a sea of deepest indigo.
Smugglers foe, plays silver on the stage of night.
Unbound, water rises to the smallest star in sight
As owls might speak of the sun, we talk of the moon.
Nose and ears alert to fragrance of dew-kissed notes.
Come! Take a stroll under the spell that is Selene;
meditate on her beauty and the sea of tranquility.
She draws harmony in greys, black and white.
In the peace and silence of the night
you'll find your thoughts emerge
untrammelled and arise
as light.
As we are just coming up to a full hare moon I thought you all might enjoy this.

oh..this is just sublime.. this lil rabbit of an indigo moonlover is blown away..
thank you so much for this beautiful poem Gael..I'm in awe… love.. tara
I had fun geting this one in full moon shape Tara. Nice to know you really enjoyed it.
Thanks for bringing me here Zephyr…
just wonderful!
fun? well, that tells me patience must be one of yr virtues.. cuz I usually end up pulling my hair when playin with the limited layout possibilities ongrid ;-) needless to say, I guess, patience is not one of mine.. or maybe I'm just spoiled from having my designer tools at hand offgrid.. -The aesthetics of looking upon, is an important 'detail' & with yr poem.. it makes a divine whole.. :-)
Aley, big hugs and much love.
Tara, you have so many special qualities, generosity of spirit being one that really stands out. . I also like other forms of poetry that go by syllable count, cinquains, and fibonnacci, this is an example of concrete poetry where the shape fits the poem, I also love to capture a special moment with haiku.
I loved this too Zephyr.. the hare moon was immense and beautiful as it rose here last night. What does a fibonacci poem look like? Or is it a question of increasing syllable count?
I'm intrigued :-) xL
Thank you for this,as the full moon passed hidden by clouds I still sensed it.
“In the peace and silence of the night
you'll find your thoughts emerge
untrammelled and arise
as light”
You have a gift with words Zephyr :-)
You are so gifted as a poet. Thanks for putting it out here for us to enjoy.
I admire your creativity and patience in getting the shape just right. Part of the beauty of poetry is how it looks visually. You are a true artist.

mimi
Lynx, I will post a fibonacci poem for you
