A Poem for Peace
Logic of the mind is fenced round
by constructs. Friends tossed
like a dime into the hopeful dish
of desired crystal-wish. We grow
beyond the confines of dharma-dimes,
learn to fly and dodge deliveries.
From single cell to fin to wing,
in life's defence old constructs
are patched into something new.
Heart to heart, peals of laughter hit
the rafters. Heart-space is a leap
of faith, soul to soul when peace
becomes - not what we desperately
seek - but what we have become.
