What is your own inner Fool saying?
I Am The Fool
Please don't taunt or titter
I am the fool, trancendent
I teeter on the edge of time
and timelessness. My passion
is the universal. In awe, I ask
what can I create for a creator
who builds forests from an acorn
and holds the stars and planets
in the wonder of the cosmos?
Creation has my trust and adoration
dancing in the palm of her hand.
She hands me ideas,slippery things,
little scraps I catch on paper
lest they escape and elude me.
I know I missed the boat
called perfection but my errors
are portals of discovery and there
are times when a little madness
sets me free.I close my eyes, delve
into secrets and the mystical.
My curiosity peers into a future
of infinite creative energy, of life
and death,beyond knowing,all that is,
and all that is not. There lies my muse
she asks me to leap and a net appears.

absolutely amazing! - a beautiful, meaning arrangement of language that i just so enjoyed.
thank you :)
What can I say? Awesome & so very very lovely..
A whole bunch of light blue bubbles of joy was released in me when reading.
Thank you.
love, laughter & lightness tara <3
nb: Can I please quote you on these words?
they are in essence the story of my life,
and I am not fooling!
'I know I missed the boat called perfection
but my errors are portals of discovery
and there are times
when a little madness sets me free..
Thank you both for your apreciation of my puny efforts to answer this question
Tara you are welcome to quote me.
“I know I missed the boat
called perfection but my errors
are portals of discovery…”
This helps me me soooo much. To know that my errors are ways to discover my true perfection…To know that just what I need to know to further understand life/self comes to me from a variety of sources (in this instance, you, my dear friend:)…I love it! Thank you :)
Hi Elizabeth, yes we expect ourselves to be perfect and we find we are simply human and learning.
“There lies my muse
she asks me to leap and a net appears.”
When I read this line, I no longer feel anxious or apprehensive about the future. Instead, I feel comfort, peace, security…I love it! Thank you :)
Oh Zephyr so what I dearly needed to read and feel on a rainy Tuesday.
Thank you
Thank you both, (((((hugs))))))).
A fool's wisdom crafted into beautiful poetry. Thank you, Zephyr!

Thank you, thank you…so beautiful and empowering. Words ripe with wisdom and flowing with poetry.
This is very neat, I had to read this to my friend in class, something about it just grabbed at my heart and soul, maybe its the fact that we all are fools in a way. Thank you for writing this.
Thank you all for the kind comments and for sharing this.
So beautiful! Poets like you are so amazing, and give us a new window into seeing our world and our place in it.–a new way of “seeing” a “place” we might not without the poets of the world.
Now, that's a beautiful bit of magic, Zephyr. Thank you! Quite wonderful, and I enjoyed it so much….
love and a wonderful weekend, dear poetess,
CG
Mimi, you are such a lovely thoughtul person, not surprised you make such lovely thoughtful comments, thank you
CG, Thank you my friend, hope you and Kathy have a lovely week end too. How is Kathy?
I think I was meant to read this most brilliant piece,
you have given and gifted many with your wonderful sharing, insight and wisdom…
Love and peace..
That is the flow in the universe, funny how we stumble into something that has significance for us, I do it too, just at the right moment usually.
