This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 31, 2007:
Everyone's smile is special.and can convey so much. I have discovered when we go with the flow, in tune with the moment and all that is, that the universe smiles on us too - it has a sense of humour. I love smiles where the eyes smile too Some memorable smiles, babies first smiles - grandchildrens smiles when told what is special about them..- the shop assistants that smile and go the extra mile when I do my shopping - the businessman's smile when he told me he didn't want any more money other things in life are more important. The homeless persons smile as he offered a distraught husband his last cigarrette. The smiles on the face of a young nurse as she kept my mind otherwise occupied while she dug thorns from my feet. My partners smile when he finally after years overcame his fear of commitment. My 89 yr old mothers smile, when I care for her, her memory is failing, I'm thankful she knows she is loved and is not lying
in some care home waiting her turn for attention.
